Two-, four- and six-week clerkships in FM, IM, pediatrics and OB are available to students of AOA-or AMA-approved medical schools. PCOM students have the opportunity to participate in clinical campus, spending their entire third year of medical school doing rotations within Heritage Valley Health System. All clerkships consist of inpatient and outpatient experiences with senior residents and faculty. Students have the opportunity to evaluate patients, formulate diagnoses and therapeutic plans, and participate in procedures under the direction of an attending physician. Students are encouraged to take a primary role in the care of their patients.
