The Staunton Clinic Outpatient Program has been providing confidential mental health psychiatric, psychotherapy and case management services for adults, and children in the local communities, schools and surrounding regions since 1963 using best practice standards. Staunton has successfully delivered mental health services through many decades of change experienced by the families of the Ohio Valley. In addition to the psychological services that the Outpatient Program has provided, our Case Management team is driven to meet gold standards of performance in building a support network of community services that assist in an individual’s recovery efforts. Staunton’s unique sense of history for the neighboring towns and growing suburbs helps it to be more sensitive to its people and the problems they face. The Staunton Clinic staff continues to grow as a result of an excellent reputation supported by the voice of satisfied customers. Staunton’s staff is noted for their compassion, qualifications and skill. They believe that emotional problems are not cured they are healed through working partnerships that combine professional expertise with sensitive caring.
Outpatient services meet regulatory/accreditation standards and may include:
- Clinical evaluations
- Psychiatric evaluations and medication management
- Individual, marital and group therapy
- Family therapy
- Child and adolescent counseling
- Intensive case management/administrative case management for the seriously mentally ill
- Student assistance programs at area schools
Requests for Outpatient Services would begin with a call to Staunton’s Central Intake Department at 412-749-7341. An Intake Specialist will gather the reason for the call and preliminary information about insurance coverage. An initial appointment will be set up with a professional clinician who will complete a comprehensive evaluation and treatment plan.
