On January 6, 2008 the Rochester Mental Health Clinic became incorporated into the Staunton Clinic of the Heritage Valley Health System. This mental health program has been in existence at its current site in the community of Rochester since 1969. It was established as a community wide initiative to provide centralized mental health services for the people of Beaver County in conjunction with the Beaver County Behavioral Health.

Under the present guidance of the Staunton Clinic, the Rochester Program will provide confidential mental health outpatient services for adults and children using best practice standards.

Outpatient and Specialty Programs include:

  • Clinical evaluations
  • Psychiatric evaluations and medication management
  • Individual, marital, family and group therapy
  • Child and adolescent counseling
  • Adult Partial Hospital Program
  • Family Based Services
  • Community Treatment Team (CTT)
  • Specialized programs for Beaver County Behavioral Health

Crisis Intervention Services including telephone, walk-in and mobile crisis are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays by calling: 724-775-5208 or 1-800-400-6180.

Requests for Outpatient Services (except for Crisis Services) would begin with a call to Staunton – Rochester’s Central Intake Department at 724-770-8222. An intake specialist will gather the reason for your call as well as other preliminary information such as your insurance coverage. An initial appointment will be set up with a professional clinician who will complete a comprehensive evaluation and plan for treatment.

As part of the Staunton Clinic, the Rochester Program is governed by the same regulatory and accrediting bodies that set practice standards for the delivery of mental health services to the community.
