Moon Township, PA, (December 17, 2009) – Heritage Valley Health System’s two philanthropic foundations, Heritage Valley Beaver Foundation and Heritage Valley Sewickley Foundation, have announced their officers for 2010.
The 2010 officers for the Heritage Valley Beaver Foundation are: Chairman – David Atcheson, DMD, Vice Chair – Don Flick, and Secretary/Treasurer – Judy Madder.
The 2010 officers for the Heritage Valley Sewickley Foundation are: Chairman – Scott Elste, Vice Chair – Greg Smith, and Secretary/Treasurer – Lynn Vescio.
In addition, the two philanthropic foundations welcome new members to their respective Boards of Directors: Kevin Flannery and Tom Leydig.
Kevin Flannery is borough manager and secretary for the Borough of Sewickley and will be joining the Heritage Valley Sewickley Foundation Board of Directors. He holds an undergraduate degree from St. Francis University and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) at the University of Pittsburgh. Kevin is a member of the International City Management Association, the Association for Pennsylvania Municipal Management, and currently serves as President of the Pennsylvania State Board of the Government Finance Officers Association. He and his wife Donna reside in Ambridge.
Tom Leydig is managing partner of Text It To Me, LLC and will be joining the Heritage Valley Beaver Foundation Board of Directors. Tom is the retired President and CEO of New Honda City in New Castle and is a current member of the Board of Trustees for his alma mater, Washington and Jefferson College. He and his wife Cheryl reside in Hopewell Township.
