Moon Township, PA, (January 15, 2010) – Heritage Valley Health System is pleased to announce the appointment of Sharon Loftus, Esq. to the position of Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. Ms. Loftus will oversee all legal aspects of the health system and its affiliated organizations. Ms. Loftus’ prior legal experience includes serving as the deputy general counsel for West Penn Allegheny Health System and as a partner with Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott.

Ms. Loftus earned a B.S. and an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. She earned her J.D. from Duquesne University. She resides in South Fayette Township with her husband.
