Moon Township, PA, (January 15, 2010) – The Board of Directors of Heritage Valley Health System recently announced its new board leadership for 2010. The leadership team, effective January 1, 2010 is comprised of: Laura Vassamillet, Chair; G.R. Orr, III, Vice Chair; A. Gary Chace, Treasurer; and Johannah Robb, Secretary.

Additionally, Heritage Valley Health System welcomes Lynn George, PhD, RN, CNE and I. David Atcheson, DMD to its Board of Directors as new members.

Lynn George, PhD, RN, CNE is Associate Dean and Associate Professor of Nursing at the Robert Morris University School of Nursing and Health Sciences. Dr. George received her BSN from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, her MSN from the University of Pittsburgh and her PhD from Duquesne University. She is an editor and author of numerous articles and publications with expertise in education, administration and technology in nursing. She and her husband, Robert Schriner, reside in Baden.

I. David Atcheson, DMD is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with offices in Beaver and East Liverpool, OH. He is a graduate from the University of Pittsburgh, where he also earned his DMD. He did his oral surgery training at the University of Miami School of Medicine – Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Atcheson is the chair of the Heritage Valley Beaver Foundation and also serves on the Beaver County Economic Development Authority. He and his family reside in Chippewa.
