Moon Township, PA, (May 6, 2010) –  Heritage Valley Health System recently honored the Heritage Valley Beaver Auxiliary for their service to the hospital at a luncheon held on April 19 at Seven Oaks Country Club.  The Heritage Valley Beaver Auxiliary operates the coffee and gift shops at Heritage Valley Beaver in an effort to raise money for various needs and projects at the hospital.

During the past several years, the Heritage Valley Beaver Auxiliary has focused their efforts on raising funds for the renovation and expansion of a new emergency department.  The Auxiliary became the lead donor by raising $1 million for the emergency department project.  In recognition of their effort, Heritage Valley named the new emergency department “The Heritage Valley Beaver Auxiliary Emergency Department”.
