New Locations Include Robinson Township and Ellwood City
Moon Township, PA, (November 29, 2012) - Heritage Valley Health System has expanded its medical neighborhood locations to include Robinson Township and Ellwood City. Both locations are now open and offer a variety of health care services in one convenient location.
A “medical neighborhood” is a one-stop shopping concept and design that provides patients with the convenience of accessing primary care, as well as ambulatory and diagnostic services in one community location.
Heritage Valley Robinson Township, located at 6521 Steubenville Pike in part of the Staples building, offers primary care services through the Heritage Valley Medical Group offices of Denise Wegrzynowicz, DO and Linda D'Eramo, DO (Heritage Valley Family Practice – Robinson). Drs. Wegrzynowicz and D’Eramo moved to this new location from their old offices previously located in Robinson Plaza Three on Park Manor Drive. In addition, Heritage Valley Robinson Township includes a laboratory draw site and the diagnostic services of EKG, Ultrasound, Mammography, X-ray, Bone Density (DEXA), and a state-of-the-art mobile Open Bore MRI and CT.

Heritage Valley Ellwood City, located at 1677 State Route 65, includes the Heritage Valley Medical Group offices of Mary Ann DiBiagio, DO and Sharon Dawso, MD, a laboratory draw site, a Heart & Vascular Center office and the diagnostic services of EKG, Ultrasound, Mammography, X-Ray and Bone Density (DEXA). In addition, the Ellwood City medical neighborhood now includes Heritage Valley’s seventh ConvenientCare location.
ConvenientCare is a walk-in clinic, open 7 days a week with extended hours providing treatment for minor illness and injuries by a staff of Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners. In addition to the new Ellwood City location, Heritage Valley has ConvenientCare walk-in clinics in Moon Township, Monaca, Chippewa, Cranberry, New Castle and East Liverpool, Ohio.
Heritage Valley Health System has two other existing medical neighborhoods – Heritage Valley Moon Township and Heritage Valley Chippewa. Heritage Valley Moon Township (935 Thorn Run Road) includes two Heritage Valley Medical Group offices, a ConvenientCare walk-in clinic, Heart & Vascular Center office, diagnostic imaging, a laboratory draw site, and Signature Rehab outpatient rehabilitation services.
Heritage Valley Chippewa (2580 Constitution Boulevard) has three Heritage Valley Medical Group primary care physician practices, a Tri-State Pediatric Associates location, diagnostic imaging, and a laboratory draw services. In addition, a ConvenientCare walk-in clinic and Signature Rehab location will be added to this location in early 2013. The site also includes a Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC Specialty Care Center location that offers the following pediatric specialty care services: pediatric endocrinology, gastroenterology, nephrology, and pulmonary medicine.
An additional Heritage Valley medical neighborhood location (“Heritage Valley Edgeworth”) is slated to open next spring in the new Esmark Building off Rt. 65 in the Edgeworth/Sewickley area.
“Heritage Valley has taken accessibility to the next level by implementing our ‘medical neighborhood’ strategy,” said Norm Mitry, President and CEO of Heritage Valley Health System. “These locations in Ellwood City and Robinson Township provide our patients in these areas with expanded, high quality health care services when and where they need it. Plus, like other Heritage Valley locations, each is fully connected to our electronic health record system, providing an unprecedented continuity of care for our patients.”
