Moon Township, PA,(December 26, 2012) - Heritage Valley Health System will expand  services at its Freedom Square Plaza location in Cranberry Township, transitioning the location into the Health System’s fifth medical neighborhood in the region.  Heritage Valley Cranberry, located at 1185 Freedom Road, Suite B106, will offer primary care services, a laboratory draw site, satellite offices for Heritage Valley Heart & Vascular Center and Heritage Valley Rheumatology, and a new location for Heritage Valley’s ConvenientCare walk-in clinic.

As of January 2, 2013, Heritage Valley ConvenientCare – Cranberry will be moving from its current Walmart location into the medical neighborhood in Freedom Square Plaza.  ConvenientCare is open 7 days a week with extended hours providing treatment for minor illness and injuries by a staff of Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners.

Heritage Valley Cranberry offers primary care services through the Heritage Valley Medical Group practice of Suzanne Stragand, DO, Judith Wesolowski, DO and Vikram Arora, MD, MPH (Heritage Valley Primary Care – Cranberry).  Additionally, physicians practicing in the specialties of cardiology and rheumatology have office hours in the Freedom Road location.

Heritage Valley Health System has four other existing medical neighborhoods – Heritage Valley Moon Township, Heritage Valley Chippewa, Heritage Valley Robinson Township, and Heritage Valley Ellwood City.  A “medical neighborhood” is a one-stop shopping concept and design that provides patients with the convenience of accessing primary care, as well as ambulatory services in one community location.  An additional Heritage Valley medical neighborhood location (“Heritage Valley Edgeworth”) is slated to open next spring in the new Esmark Building off Rt. 65 in the Edgeworth/Sewickley area.
