Moon Township, PA, (February 10, 2012) – Heritage Valley Health System is pleased to announce the addition of pediatrician Sarah L. Bahr, DO, FAAP to its Tri-State Pediatric Associates offices in Wexford and Sewickley, Pa.

Prior to joining Heritage Valley, Dr. Bahr was Chief of Pediatrics at Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, Ga., following service as a battalion surgeon and general medical officer for the Riva Ridge Troop Medical Clinic at Camp Liberty in Iraq. During her military career, Dr. Bahr advanced to the rank of Major and received several recognitions, including the Meritorious Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and Iraq Campaign Medal.

She obtained her bachelor’s of science degree from Allegheny College and her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at the National Capital Consortium in Washington, DC and Bethesda, Md. Dr. Bahr is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Bahr will also be available for appointments at Heritage Valley’s Tri-State Pediatric Associates offices in Beaver, Hopewell and Chippewa.
