Moon Township, PA, (September 27, 2012) –Timothy L. Jackson, RPh, MD, FACP was recently inducted as a fellow of the American College of Physicians in internal medicine.

Dr. Jackson is an internal medicine/primary care physician with Heritage Valley Medical Group. In addition, Dr. Jackson is an adjunct faculty member in Duquesne University’s Physician Assistant Program and serves as the medical director for Gentiva/Odyssey Hospice in Pittsburgh, PA, Franciscan Manor in Beaver Falls, PA and Progressive Home Health in Monaca, PA. He received his bachelor’s of science in pharmacy from the Duquesne University School of Pharmacy and his medical degree from the Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. 

The recipient of numerous honors and awards, Dr. Jackson has been a principal investigator and co-investigator in numerous clinical trials and is a member of several professional societies.  He is also involved with numerous community activities including serving as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Philomena Parish in Beaver Falls, PA and formerly coaching 4th-8th grade basketball at Mt. Gallitzin Academy in Baden, PA and 4th grade at St. Alphonsus in Wexford, PA.
