Moon Township, PA, (September 27, 2012) – Forty-two students from the Heritage Valley Sewickley School of Nursing’s Class of 2012 graduated in commencement ceremonies held at the Edgeworth Club on Thursday, September 13. 

Heritage Valley Health System Board Member and Robert Morris University School of Nursing and Health Sciences Associate Dean, Lynn George, PhD, RN, CNE was the keynote speaker.  Marilu Piotrowski, Director, School of Nursing presided and awarded the students their nursing pins.  Nancy Woodward, faculty member, presented the traditional graduation rose.

Special awards and recognition were given to Christine Snyder, who received the Faculty Award for the Highest Academic Achievement.  Angela Dulick received the Ruth V. Myers Alumni Award for excellence in utilization of talent, knowledge and skills.  Michael Werb received the Flora Guthrie Applegate Award for outstanding nursing care.
