The Heritage Valley Health System Medical Neighborhood initiative is the Health System’s approach to health care delivery that focuses on providing consumers high quality health care coordinated through a primary care physician with easy access to ancillary services such as lab testing, diagnostic imaging, walk-in clinics and, when needed, specialty physician care – all located in the community. It’s a consumer-friendly health care delivery option that also yields benefits for the Health System through increased collaboration and efficiencies of service.
In a Heritage Valley medical neighborhood many services are found in one location, however coordination is with established physician practices and services also located in the neighborhood. The Heritage Valley Medical Neighborhood is a community epicenter of health care.
