Applicants are reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Consideration is given to academic achievement, application, essay, testing results, references and the personal interview. Meeting the admission criteria does not necessarily guarantee admission to the School of Nursing. The Heritage Valley Sewickley School of Nursing reserves the right to select only those applicants who demonstrate qualifications necessary to meet the standards of the School as defined in the philosophy, goals and curriculum objectives of the program. Once all application material, testing, and interviews are completed, the Admissions Committee makes a decision regarding admission and a letter of acceptance or denial is sent to the applicant. This decision process may take several months.
A registration fee is required when the candidate is accepted. Fees are not refundable.
