To the extent of available funds, financial aid is awarded to the most needy students on a first-come first-served basis. Students will receive an award letter after acceptance for admission and completion of financial aid forms.

To continue receiving financial aid following initial enrollment at Heritage Valley Sewickley School of Nursing, students must meet certain conditions each year. They must be enrolled at least half-time and must reapply for aid each year using the appropriate forms as mentioned above. Less than half-time students may qualify for some federal aid. Students must maintain a "C" grade in each course to make successful academic progress. Also, students must complete a minimum of 24 credit-hour equivalents each year to progress a grade level and be eligible for renewal of loans and state grants.
