The School of Nursing is part of Heritage Valley Health System, which includes two major community hospitals - Heritage Valley Sewickley and Heritage Valley Beaver. Founded in 1916, the School of Nursing has graduated more than 2,000 nurses.

Women and men of all ages and backgrounds (both recent high school graduates and adults desiring a career change) enter the nursing program at Heritage Valley Sewickley School of Nursing. The school offers a dynamic curriculum, diverse clinical experiences and a highly qualified, master's prepared faculty.

Heritage Valley Sewickley School of Nursing also offers full-credit college courses taught by faculty from La Roche College. Graduates from the Heritage Valley Sewickley School of Nursing are prepared to directly transition into a Bachelor or Master of Science in Nursing completion program at several area colleges and universities.

Heritage Valley Sewickley School of Nursing is approved by the State Board of Nursing of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
