This course focuses on the needs of the family during the childbearing period, emphasizing the individuality of the mother, father, infant and all significant others. The clinical and classroom settings provide the opportunity for the student to apply physiological, psycho logic and evidence based theory, principles, the nursing process and critical thinking skills.
