This course emphasizes the application of basic principles of leadership by the professional nurse. Students are oriented to the functions and responsibilities of the graduate nurse. This will assist them in making a more effective transition from student to practitioner. Class time is also used for discussion of current trends, and legal, bioethical, political and research issues in nursing.
