Three professional references are required. References should be from a teacher, employer, supervisor, clergy, nurse or person with whom the applicant has had a professional relationship. References should know the applicant for at least one year and be able to evaluate the applicant’s ability to complete the program. References from friends or relatives are NOT accepted. LPNs or former students of a nursing program must have one reference from a clinical instructor. Those completing reference forms should do so within two weeks of receiving them. Completed forms should be mailed directly to the School of Nursing.
