Catheter is positioned in various places within the venous and arterial system, specifically the heart and lungs. Small samples of blood are from various sites and oxygen saturation analysis is performed. Information gathered will help to determine if there is an abnormal communication between the venous and arterial system. Procedure is usually performed in conjunction with Right Heart Catheterization. Procedure length of time is approximately 15 minutes.
