Brain Yorns

MSN, FNP

Brian Yorns, MSN, FNP joined Heritage Valley Heart and Vascular Center in 2017. He has years of experience in healthcare dating back to the 1990’s where he served as a combat medic on active duty in the US Army. In 1996, he started employment at Heritage Valley as direct patient care technician. Brian then went on to nursing school and graduated from CCBC Associate Degree in Nursing Program in 2000, starting his nursing career working on the Med/Surg floor and Critical Care Unit. In 2008, he obtained his BSN from Slippery Rock University and in August 2016, he earned his MSN, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Clarion and Edinboro University. Brian remains active in PA Army National Guard as an officer in charge of patient holding squad.

Jan Piggott

MSN, ACNP-BC, CCRN, CEN

Janet Piggott MSN, ACNP-BC, CCRN, CEN joined Heritage Valley Heart and Vascular Center in 2009. She graduated from Kent State RN nursing program with an associate degree in 1983 and began her nursing career at Heritage Valley Health System in 1984. Janet worked in the Emergency department, the intensive care unit and as a dialysis nurse. She is a certified critical care registered nurse as well as certified emergency room nurse. Janet graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 1997 from Carlow University. She earned her Master of Science in nursing, acute care nurse practitioner from The University of Pittsburgh in 2007 with cardiopulmonary emphasis. In March 2007, she was presented with a black belt in six sigma for process improvement for length of stay at The Medical Center in Beaver.

Bonnie Otto

PA-C

Bonnie Otto, PA-C, joined Heritage Valley Heart and Vascular Center in October 2005. She has a wide range of experience in Family and Internal Medicine and is a member of the AAPA and AFFPA. Bonnie is a graduate of the Physician Assistant program from Gannon University, Erie PA with a Master of Physician Assistant Science degree.

 

 

Danielle Cooper

PA-C

Danielle Cooper, PA-C, graduated from Duquesne University in 2012 with a Masters in physician assistant studies.  Danielle has worked in the cardiology field since graduation. She came to Heritage Valley Heart and Vascular Center in June 2015. 

Heritage Valley Medical Group, Cardiology provides a full range of services, from consultative care to non-invasive diagnostic testing, and diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac and peripheral procedures, including catheterization, arteriography, angioplasty and coronary/peripheral stenting. 

A part of Heritage Valley Medical Group, the Heart & Vascular Center includes board certified cardiologists, offering a comprehensive approach to the diagnosis, management and treatment of cardiovascular and peripheral vascular disease.
