Dr. Que received his M.D. and his M.S. in Cardiac Surgery and Hemodynamic Research from the West China University of Medical Sciences. He has completed multiple residencies, including one in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Que is double Board Certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery and has over 22 years of experience as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon. He is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Que is bilingual, and is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
Some of Dr. Que’s areas of skill and expertise include off-pump Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) surgery; valvular repair/replacement surgery; aortic aneurysm surgery; minimally invasive cardiac surgery, including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR); surgical treatment of heart failure and pulmonary failure, such as Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) and Ventricular Assist Device (VAD); lung surgery of benign or malignant disease; and minimally invasive Thoracic Surgery, such as Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS).
