George K. Joseph, MD received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Government Medical College in Calicut, Kerala India. His post-graduate education includes an Internship in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, NY; a Residency in Internal Medicine at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY; a Fellowship in Cardiology/Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS; and a Fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH.
Dr. Joseph is Board Certified in Cardiology/Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Cardiology and Heart Rhythm Society.
Dr. Joseph is skilled in complex and simple Electrophysiology procedures, including treatment of Atrial Fibrillation, Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT), Ventricular Tachycardia (VT) and heart palpitations/flutters. He performs A-Fib Ablations, Premature Ventricular Contraction (PVC) Ablations, Epicardial VT Ablations, Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE), Electrical Cardioversions and Watchman device implants for Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) occlusions. Dr. Joseph is also skilled in the placement of pacemakers, Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators (ICD), Biventricular Pacemakers and ICDs, Leadless Pacemakers and Subcutaneous Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators (S-ICD).
