Aaron Lampkin, DO received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York, and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie. Dr. Lampkin completed both an Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine and a Fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Care at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana; and a Fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winton-Salem, North Carolina, where he served as Chief Fellow during his final year. Prior to joining the Heritage Valley Medical Staff, Dr. Lampkin served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Rochester for six years.
Dr. Lampkin is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care. Additionally, he has had robotic bronchoscopy training through Intuitive Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Lampkin is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the American College of Chest Physicians.
