James N. Priola, DO attended Saint Vincent College in Latrobe PA from 1981-1983. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Notre Dame in 1985 and attended the University of Pittsburgh from 1985-1986. He completed his graduate education at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences (College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery) in Des Moines, Iowa.
Dr. Priola is licensed in Osteopathic Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He completed a rotating Internship at Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital in Youngstown Ohio in 1991 and a residency in Family Practice at Saint Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center in Youngstown in 1993. He was in practice with Fifth Avenue Medical Associates in Coraopolis from 1993 to 1997 and University Family Practice Associates in Moon Township from 1997 to 2002, prior to joining Sewickley Valley Medical Group, Family Practice Associates-Hopewell.
He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, Allegheny County Medical Society, Pennsylvania Medical Society, and is also NCQA certified in Diabetes Care.
