Kathleen M. Osten, MD is from the North Hills and attended North Hills High School. She is a graduate of Washington and Jefferson College and Jefferson Medical College. Dr. Osten spent five years as a family practice physician on active duty in the U.S. Air Force. She has worked in urgent care in the past, and has enjoyed working with Associates in Family Medicine (formerly Ambridge Area Healthcare Services) since 2004. Dr. Osten enjoys preventative care of all ages from infancy on. She also finds it rewarding to work with patients to manage chronic health conditions and has achieved NCQA certification in Diabetes since 2010.
Dr. Osten serves as a co-chair of the Quality Committee for Heritage Valley Medical Group. She is also Chairperson of the Heritage Valley Health Network, Clinical Integration Committee for the Clinical Integration Network and Chairperson of the Quality Assurance Committee, Heritage Valley Health Network Accountable Care Organization. Dr. Osten recently accepted the role of Medical Director of the Heritage Valley Clinical Integration Network and Accountable Care Organization. Dr. Osten, her husband and her children live in Wexford.
