Oriente DiTano, M.D. graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with Summa Cum Laude honors completing two separate Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Neurobehavioral Science. He continued his education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, graduating with the Hewlett Packard Top Medical Graduate Award. Dr. DiTano then trained in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA. He completed a hand and microvascular fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital and was actively involved in training young doctors in hand surgery as an Attending Physician at Allegheny General Hospital and the University of Pittsburgh as a Clinical Assistant Professor.
Dr. DiTano treats pathology of the entire upper extremity. He treats common hand conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, hand arthritis with endoscopic carpal tunnel release and joint replacements. He also specializes in trauma reconstruction and nerve compression injuries in the upper extremity.
Dr. DiTano is currently accepting patients at the GPOA offices located in Cranberry Twp., Moon Twp. and Sewickley.
