Medical Staff Health Care Scholarship – 2023 - Heritage Valley Health System

Awarded by the Heritage Valley Beaver and Heritage Valley Sewickley Medical Staffs

Dear Student:

The Medical Staffs of Heritage Valley Beaver and Heritage Valley Sewickley hospitals are pleased to announce that applications for the Health Care Scholarships are now being accepted. The application process is open to all students in the Heritage Valley Beaver and Heritage Valley Sewickley service areas who are pursuing a health care career.

The Medical Staffs view these scholarships as a way to demonstrate their appreciation to the community. Scholarships are awarded to outstanding students who have financial need and who will hopefully serve in our community upon completion of their training and education.

To be considered, please complete and submit the application below and required attachments no later than May 31, 2023. Scholarship will be awarded by June 30, 2023.

Please be sure to include a copy of:

Proof of matriculation or enrollment
Federal Income Tax return or FAFSA form for each person listed in the Financial Information section
A typed essay stating in 500 words or less “Why I Want to Pursue a Career in Health Care.” Please include any information that you think may be pertinent to the Scholarship Committee and highlights your journey into health care.

Please note that we are unable to consider applications submitted without the attachments mentioned above.
