Heritage Valley Health System’s Breastfeeding Moms Network is now holding meetings at the Sewickley Valley YMCA, 625 Blackburn Road, Sewickley, PA. The support group for breastfeeding or pumping mothers and their babies is held from 10 a.m. to Noon the first Wednesday of each month and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. the third Wednesday of the month.
The Breastfeeding Moms Network is led by a lactation consultant from Heritage Valley Sewickley hospital. The support group enables moms and babies to spend time together sharing valuable breastfeeding and parenting advice. The lactation consultant will provide information and tips on latch, positioning and other breastfeeding assistance. Sewickley Valley YMCA provides free child care during the class. Expectant mothers are also welcome to attend.
