National Nurses Day
National Nurses Day is celebrated each year on May 6th to raise awareness of the important role that nurses play within the healthcare system. Nurses are on the front lines every day, and are often the first and last person that you see during a hospital visit. Nurses make up the largest percentage of the U.S. healthcare workforce, and work hard to keep their patients healthy and happy!
While Nursing is sometimes thought of as a “behind the scenes” profession, we want to bring recognition of Heritage Valley’s nursing staff to the forefront! We appreciate all that they do, and we couldn’t be prouder of them. So … to all of our nurses, thank you for providing such wonderful care to our patients!
