Last Call to Register for the Turkey Trot!
Open to everyone, the Turkey Trot course takes runners and walkers alike on a 5K path through the charming village of Sewickley. The Turkey Trot is a joint project of the Heritage Valley Health System Foundation and the Sewickley Valley YMCA.
The race begins at 8:30 am on Thursday, November 28, 2024 (rain, snow or shine!) at War Memorial Park, 811 Blackburn Road in Sewickley. Awards will be presented at 9:20 am at the finish line. Free parking is available in the Heritage Valley Sewickley parking garage, using the Blackburn Road entrance across from the YMCA.
Please click here for online registration. If you are registering on the day of the race, please arrive by 7:00 am. All pre-registered runners and walkers may pick up their race packets on Wednesday, November 27, from 10 am – 8 pm at the Sewickley Valley YMCA Community Activity Center, located in the upper parking lot on the YMCA’s campus on Blackburn Road. Packets may also be picked up on race day between 7 – 8 am, although we strongly recommend that you pick up your packets on Wednesday.
Turkey Trot shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
The cost for adults (18 years and older) is $35; $20 for participants ages 17 and younger; and no cost for children in strollers. Proceeds benefit the Faith in Action program at the Sewickley Valley YMCA.
