Keeping You “In the Know”… COVID-19 Booster Update
Now that the FDA and the CDC have given full approval for a Pfizer booster for certain groups of people, Heritage Valley will expand its booster program. In addition to those who are immunocompromised, we will now provide Pfizer boosters, by appointment only, at the Robinson Township and Center Township ConvenientCare locations to the following:
- People over the age of 65
- People who are between the ages of 50 – 64 with underlying health conditions
- People who are between the ages of 18 – 49 with underlying health conditions (It is recommended that those in this group discuss the benefit vs. risk with their physician.)
- People in high-exposure occupations (Healthcare workers; First Responders; Teachers; Front-Line Workers)
