Dr. Notaro received his undergraduate degree from Boston University and obtained his medical degree from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart School of Medicine in Rome, Italy. After medical school, he spent several years in the pharmaceutical industry working on cardiovascular clinical research with a focus on the development of novel oral anticoagulants. Dr. Notaro completed a residency in family medicine at Heritage Valley Beaver in Beaver, PA and a fellowship in geriatric medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is board certified in family medicine and board eligible in geriatric medicine.
