Heritage Valley Tri-State OB/GYN is pleased to welcome Rebecca A. Welch, MD. She will be seeing patients at Tri-State OB/GYN’s three locations in Chippewa, Bridgewater, and inside Heritage Valley Beaver.
Dr. Welch received her undergraduate degree from Penn State University, earning a bachelor of science in both biology and nutritional sciences. She obtained her medical degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine. She is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Before joining Heritage Valley Tri-State OB/GYN, Dr. Welch completed her residency and internship at Allegheny Health Network/Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Obstetrics and Gynecology. There she received the West Penn – Allegheny Excellence in Research Award for her study of electronic communications between obstetricians and patients during the antenatal period.
She is a Pittsburgh native and resides in Avonworth. Her vision is to provide the upmost care and compassion to every patient that she encounters.
