Heritage Valley Named One of the Top 100 Integrated Delivery Networks

Heritage Valley Health System has been named to the 2014 IMS Health Top 100 Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) list.  IMS Health recognizes the way that integrated delivery networks, such as Heritage Valley, are reshaping the way care is provided and treatment decisions are made.

“We are honored to be recognized by IMS Health as one of the top integrated delivery networks in the country,” said Norm Mitry, President and CEO of Heritage Valley Health System.  “Our board of directors, medical staff, and employees are dedicated to moving the organization forward and providing exceptional health care services. At Heritage Valley, we continually strive to be a leader among community health systems nationally.”

IMS Health’s Top 100 Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) ranking measures IDN influence in prescribing for specific therapeutic areas and IDN-affiliated provider impact through prescribing behaviors. The Top 100 IDN ranking is based on a combination of therapeutic areas including cardiovascular, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), diabetes and mental health.

Heritage Valley is ranked 35 in the 2014 list of 100 IDNs. The Health System moved up the list in 2014 having been listed 89 in 2012 and in the IMS Health 2011 “Best of the Rest” section.
