Family Medicine Residency Program
The Heritage Valley Family Medicine Residency Program at Heritage Valley Beaver was accredited in 1979 and is affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. The program emphasizes procedural skills as well as extensive internal medicine and geriatric training. Residents experience the full spectrum of family medicine, including taking care of newborns and managing complicated patients in the intensive care unit.
