Danielle Cooper, PA-C, graduated from Duquesne University in 2012 with a Masters in physician assistant studies. Danielle has worked in the cardiology field since graduation. She came to Heritage Valley Heart and Vascular Center in June 2015.
Alexa Curry, PA-C joined The Heart and Vascular Center in 2017. She is graduate of Geneva College with Bachelors of Science in biology with a minor in Human Services. Alexa obtained a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Seton Hill University in May 2017.
Janet Daltner MSN, CRNP is the newest addition to the Cardiology group. She has been in health care since the early 1980's. She graduated from CCAC and joined Presbyterian University Hospital as an RN. She spent many years in oncology, followed by ICU nursing, first in liver transplant then Cardiothoracic and Transplant ICU. During that time Jan completed her BSN from Carlow college. After starting her family she completed her nurse practitioner MSN at LaRoche college. Due to having a young family, she worked part-time for anesthesia at Sewickley hospital. After that, she taught 5 years at CCBC in ICU nursing. After her children were grown, Jan joined UPMC, internal medicine practice as a CRNP in Wexford for 5 years prior to joining The Heart and Vascular Center Cardiology, a specialty that she loves.
Bonnie Otto, PA-C, joined Heritage Valley Heart and Vascular Center in October 2005. She has a wide range of experience in Family and Internal Medicine and is a member of the AAPA and AFFPA. Bonnie is a graduate of the Physician Assistant program from Gannon University, Erie PA with a Master of Physician Assistant Science degree.
Brian Yorns, MSN, FNP joined Heritage Valley Heart and Vascular Center in 2017. He has years of experience in healthcare dating back to the 1990’s where he served as a combat medic on active duty in the US Army. In 1996, he started employment at Heritage Valley as direct patient care technician. Brian then went on to nursing school and graduated from CCBC Associate Degree in Nursing Program in 2000, starting his nursing career working on the Med/Surg floor and Critical Care Unit. In 2008, he obtained his BSN from Slippery Rock University and in August 2016, he earned his MSN, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Clarion and Edinboro University. Brian remains active in PA Army National Guard as an officer in charge of patient holding squad.
