We are pleased to announce that, as of June 1st, all Heritage Valley Obstetrics and Gynecology practices are joining together to form Heritage Valley Generations OB/GYN.

Quality care and patient satisfaction is our goal. Our doctors are board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. We have a kind and professional office staff to guide you every step of the way. Office visits are by appointment only. When calling, please provide the reason for your visit or the nature of the problem so that we may accommodate your needs. Bringing a list of your current medications will help us to provide you the best care possible. The physicians are on staff at Heritage Valley Beaver, part of the Heritage Valley Health System.

Alison Fowlow, CRNP (L) & Rachel Stewart, CRNP (R)

Alison M. Fowlow, CRNP, earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Carlow University.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Slippery Rock University, and her Diploma in Nursing from the St. Francis School of Nursing in New Castle.  Alison has her Pennsylvania Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license; is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners; and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Alison joined Heritage Valley in 2016, first working for Tri-State OB/GYN.  Prior to that, she worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Pittsburgh GYN/OB; at the practice of Dr. Ciocca in Beaver; and at Cranberry Internal Medicine.  Alison previously held the position of Nurse Manager of Obstetrics at Ellwood City Hospital.

Alison enjoys providing complete and comprehensive care to women from adolescence through post-menopause, including pre-and post-natal care.

Rachel Stewart, MS, CRNP, FNP-C earned her Masters of Science Family Nurse Practitioner degree from D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Edinboro University, and her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Grove City College. Rachel has her Pennsylvania Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license; her Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license; and is Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Rachel joined Heritage Valley in 2022, first working for Generations OB/GYN. Prior to that, she worked as a Nurse Practitioner at the Inpatient Acute Leukemia unit of Shadyside Hospital; as a Home Care Registered Nurse in Buffalo, New York; and as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit of Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Delaware. Rachel has also served as a Preceptor for students pursuing their Master of Science degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner Concentration.

Rachel is focused on providing holistic, culturally competent patient care in the women’s health field. She advocates for her patients, and takes the time to explain diagnoses and treatment options in a manner that her patients clearly understand.
