Heritage Valley Pediatrics and its family of pediatricians provide high quality pediatric care at four convenient locations throughout western Pennsylvania.
Our pediatricians provide comprehensive health care to children, newborn through adolescence. There’s no need to travel to receive excellent medical care for your children. Heritage Valley Pediatrics offers physicians on-call 24 hours, everyday; same-day sick appointments; and prenatal and “Meet the Practice” visits.
Sick visits for established patients ages 6 months and up may be self-scheduled through the Heritage Valley app. Please schedule a separate appointment for each child in a family. If your child has a chronic illness or if you have concerns, please call the office so that we can schedule a longer appointment time.
Annual check-ups (well-child care) for established patients ages 5 – 18 years may also be self-scheduled through the Heritage Valley app. Please note that, for well-care visits, only one child in a family can be self-scheduled per day, due to limited appointment times. (We ask that you call the office if you have more than one child needing to be seen on the same day.)
For all appointments, please bring the following:
- Current Health Insurance Card
- Co-Payment
- Necessary Forms (several forms are available on the website)
- Medication Refill Requests

Lactation Services Available
Many moms who start out breastfeeding may not have the support they need to reach their breastfeeding goals. We offer one-on-one consultations with our International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) Liz Leon. Liz is available by appointment at Heritage Valley Beaver or in our Heritage Valley Pediatrics Chippewa office.
Breastfeeding gives a baby the very best start in life with benefits that reach far into the future! Breastmilk is nature’s perfect first food, made especially for babies by providing all the vitamins, proteins and fats they need for the first 6 months. Breastmilk also provides powerful antibodies that fight off illnesses, builds babies’ immunities, and provides probiotics that aid in digestion and help to build a healthy digestive tract. Did you know that the composition of mother’s milk changes as baby grows?
Most moms make plenty of milk and breastfeeding should NOT hurt. Almost all mothers can breastfeed if given the right support, advice, encouragement and skilled assistance to help resolve any issues.
Meet our Lactation Consultant: My name is Liz and I am a mother of 4, a grandmother of 3 and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I have been working with breastfeeding families for over 20 years and have been with Heritage Valley Pediatrics for the last 7 years. I see new babies on the Maternal Child Health Unit at Heritage Valley Beaver most mornings and I see outpatients at Heritage Valley Pediatrics most afternoons. I am happy to meet with anyone who may have questions or concerns about breastfeeding. I am here to educate you, encourage you, support you and help you reach your personal breastfeeding goals. To schedule an appointment, please call 724-773-6842.
