Staunton Clinic is a mental health and intellectual disabilities treatment and resource coordination center. Staunton Clinic provides a number of diverse services that assist people from all walks of life who are seeking to recover from a temporary or more long-term mental health condition.
Staunton’s Adult and Child Programs include Outpatient Psychiatry, Psychotherapy, Blended Service Coordination, Certified Peer Support Services, Intellectual Disabilities Supports Coordination and Inpatient Services for adults. Each program is comprised of highly qualified staff who take pride in being part of the Staunton vision of recovery that began so long ago.
Adult Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Groups are offered across our Staunton Clinic satellite locations.
Adult Intensive Outpatient Program
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a higher level of care designed to assist clients with learning an increased amount of coping skills in a shorter period of time to manage symptoms of mental health disorders. IOP lasts an average of 8 weeks, dependent on individual client needs.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy Program
The Staunton Clinic Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Program was developed to provide evidenced based treatment to adults interested in building a life worth living outside of the mental health system. It is a skills-based program that is designed for individuals that frequently utilize emergency services due to suicidal ideations or self-harm and for adults interested in learning effective skills to be used in everyday life.
