Heritage Valley Heart & Vascular Center offers cardiac computed tomography, or cardiac CT, at Heritage Valley Beaver and Heritage Valley Sewickley. Cardiac CT is a painless, non-invasive test that uses an x-ray machine to take clear, detailed pictures of the heart.
Heritage Valley uses a 64-slice CT Scanner with the latest technology that includes reduced radiation dosages resulting in high quality images of the heart. A computer then puts the pictures together to make a three-dimensional (3D) picture of the whole heart.
