Christopher M. Murray, DO, MBA earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan where he majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. He earned both his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Master of Business Administration degrees from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee. After medical school, Dr. Murray completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Beaumont Hospital System in Farmington Hills, Michigan where he served as hospital chief resident and adjunct teaching faculty for the Michigan State University Statewide Campus System.
Prior to joining Heritage Valley Health System, Dr. Murray worked for Southern Tennessee Regional Health System, where he served as an outpatient Internal Medicine physician. During his tenure in Tennessee, he also worked as adjunct faculty, teaching medical students for Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Murray is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and was the recipient of the Charles Tenner, DO Outstanding Resident Teacher of the Year Award. Additionally, he was a scholarship recipient through the Tennessee Center for Health Workforce Development.
