Stephanie L. Perry, MD, FACP was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She attended Penn State University for her undergraduate work, where she was a student in the Schreyer's Honor College. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Pre-medicine and did her honor thesis work in nutrition. In 1994, she received her medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Pa. While in her third year of medical school, Dr. Perry was initiated into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Virginia. Dr. Perry joined Internal Medicine Associates in 1997.
She is a past president of the Heritage Valley Sewickley medical staff. In addition, she chairs the Heritage Valley Medical Group and is actively involved in the Quality and IT committee. Dr. Perry is vice-chair of the Heritage Valley Health Network. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, Allegheny County Medical Society, American College of Physician Executives, and American College of Physicians and was elected Fellow in 2010.
In addition to practicing medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband, raising two children, and volunteering at her church and children's' school.
