The Heritage Valley Family Medicine Residency
The Heritage Valley Family Medicine Residency Program at Heritage Valley Beaver was accredited in 1979 and is affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. The program emphasizes procedural skills as well as extensive internal medicine and geriatric training. Residents experience the full spectrum of family medicine, including taking care of newborns and managing complicated patients in the intensive care unit.
The Heritage Valley Beaver Podiatric Surgery Residency
The Heritage Valley Beaver Podiatric Surgery Residency program is one of the oldest in the country, established in 1988. In 1993, Heritage Valley Beaver became the sponsor of the Podiatric Surgery Residency Program. This is a three-year PMSR/RRA residency program approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education. Each year two residents are accepted into the first year via CASPR/CRIP.
