Cardiac Rehab is a 6-12 week outpatient program of monitored exercise and individual instruction and counseling in risk factor modification. These services are designed to help patients recover faster and return to full and productive lives. You can benefit from cardiac rehab if you have heart disease, such as angina or congestive heart failure, have had a heart attack, coronary artery bypass surgery, valve replacement, heart transplant, balloon angioplasty or stent. Classes meet three times a week for about an hour.
