Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit – Kennedy

The Inpatient Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit at Heritage Valley Kennedy is a 21-bed unit that offers care to patients 60 years of age and older in both short-stay acute and extended stay care. Under the direction of Dr. Ayyash, our dedicated team of nurses, social workers, LPNs, COTAs and PCAs provide best practice psychiatric evaluation, treatment and education in a therapeutic environment. They provide enhanced care to help improve the length and quality of life for older adults with chronic and severe mental illnesses.
