Heritage Valley Medical Group ConvenientCare expanded its reach by opening a new walk-in clinic location in Aliquippa, PA. This, Heritage Valley’s ninth ConvenientCare Walk-in Clinic located in the Aliquippa Shopping Center, 2719 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, serves the area with extended hours and treatment for minor illness and injury.
Heritage Valley ConvenientCare offers prompt access to affordably priced acute and preventive care for common health ailments treatable without emergency care, including sprains, strains, sore throats, sinus infections, upper respiratory infections, earaches, bladder infections, insect bites and stings, vaccinations, drug screening and routine physicals.
“We are pleased to bring the unique services that ConvenientCare walk-in clinics offer to Aliquippa,” said Norm Mitry, president and CEO, Heritage Valley Health System. “Open every day, with extended hours, ConvenientCare gives patients an option to receive care locally, instead of traveling to a hospital emergency department for a minor illness or injury.”
The clinics are designed to provide convenient, efficient and cost-effective healthcare access for consumers and are connected to Heritage Valley’s electronic health record (EHR) and electronic prescription program. This EHR system allows for automatic medical record delivery to Heritage Valley associated physicians.
In addition to the Aliquippa location, Heritage Valley operates ConvenientCare walk-in clinics in Beaver, Chippewa, Edgeworth, Ellwood City, Robinson Township, and West Allegheny, as well as in the Monaca, and East Liverpool, Ohio Wal-Mart stores. ConvenientCare clinics are open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday. They are staffed by certified registered nurse practitioners and supervised by Heritage Valley physicians.
