Sam Mathur, MD, FACS, an otolaryngology and allergy specialist, opened a new practice location of Laurel ENT and Allergy, PC, in Beaver at 78 Tuscarawas Road.
Dr. Sam Mathur is a native of Western Pennsylvania and grew up in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. After receiving his education from Cornell and Harvard, and his Otolaryngology training at Duke University Medical Center, he returned to Western Pennsylvania in 1998 to take care of patients in this community. Through the years, Dr. Mathur has performed thousands of ENT (ear, nose and throat) surgeries on adults and children alike, and the practice has now grown to a five-location, full allergy and Otolaryngology practice.
Dr. Mathur’s interests in Otolaryngology are wide with special interest in allergy and sinus problems. He is committed to involving patients in their own care through direct patient interaction, patient education and ensuring that patients have a good understanding of their health conditions. This full patient care approach has proven to be very successful and beneficial to patients in the communities that he serves.
