Heritage Valley Health System is encouraging Western Pennsylvania residents to take a step toward better health with Walk With A Doc, a health program that brings doctors and patients together to walk. The next Walk With A Doc event is on Saturday, April 27 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Quaker Valley Middle School track in partnership with Heritage Valley Multispecialty Group Associates in Family Medicine.
The hour-long Walk With A Doc event begins with a 10-minute health talk by providers at Associates in Family Medicine, followed by a healthy walk. Dr. Michael Karp, Dr. Kathleen Osten, Dr. Lawrence Notaro, Dr. Donna Craig and Mary Ann Kopec, CRNP will be in attendance to answer questions while participants walk at their own pace. Walk With A Doc events are free and all are welcome.
“We are looking forward to meeting and talking with a variety of people from our community,” said Dr. Karp of Associates in Family Medicine. “We plan to discuss preventative health issues and easy ways to stay healthy. We are excited to make this a fun and educational morning!”
