Hannah is a certified Physician Assistant. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota, where her PA training emphasized primary care and rural healthcare. Hannah enjoys meeting new patients and finding ways to improve diet and increase physical activity in their busy lives for the enhancement of both physical and mental well-being. She enjoys family medicine because of the variety of patients and the opportunity to care for people across the lifespan, with her special interests being women’s health, mental health, and palliative care. Hannah lives with her husband and greyhound in Squirrel Hill, and in her free time she trains for triathlons and is in nature as much as possible.
For your safety and health, please inform the doctor of any medication or change in medication that you take. To insure accuracy, please bring all of your medication bottles with you to your visits. Our physicians utilize electronic prescribing to send your prescriptions directly to your pharmacy. This technology will help ensure the safety and accuracy of your medications. Most prescription refills are best handled personally by your physician at your regular appointment. If you do not have enough medication to last until your next appointment, we have a prescription refill line that you can call 24 hours a day to request routine prescription refills. Just call our main phone number and listen for the appropriate prompt. Please note that we require a minimum of two business days to refill prescriptions, so please keep a close eye on your medication supply to prevent any delay in obtaining refills.

We want you to know that you can count on us. We combine quality medical care with concern for the personal feelings of each patient. We encourage questions and sharing of concerns. After we diagnose and treat your disease or problem, we offer advice and/or plan for staying healthy and preventing future complications. When your condition requires diagnosis or treatment beyond what we can offer, we can refer you to a specialist with whom we work closely. We will continue to coordinate care and keep open the lines of communication, assuring you the best care we can offer. We are affiliated with Heritage Valley Health System, allowing you the convenience and choice of quality care from Heritage Valley - Sewickley and Heritage Valley - Beaver. If you require clinical testing, such as laboratory testing, x-rays or special procedures, we refer you to one of Heritage Valley Health System's hospitals or satellites. But, if it's minor surgery, a routine visit or a thorough examination, we'll take care of you right in the office.
We have two locations to serve you better. Because we have a full electronic health record, you may be seen at either location any time and be assured your physician will have access to all your medical information.
We offer Open Access Appointment scheduling for your convenience! Open Access means you call us early in the morning and in most cases we’ll give you an appointment for the same day, making access to your physician easier than ever! Although most of our appointments are scheduled the same day, we do have a limited number of pre-scheduled appointments available for patients who need to schedule in advance due to work, transportation or other issues. We strive to see patients as close to their appointment times as possible. If we are delayed in seeing you, please understand that unforeseen situations can arise that require additional time, and we would spend as much time as needed if the situation involved you or someone close to you. If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Your appointment time can then be offered to another patient. There may be a charge if you do not keep an appointment and haven't notified our office that you won't be coming in. When you arrive for your appointment, please inform the receptionist and present your insurance card and your Heritage Valley Care Card. We will need to see your insurance card at every visit to insure proper billing. To help protect your information against identify theft, we may also require a valid driver's license or a state /government issued photo ID for positive identification. Please notify us immediately if there is any change in your address, phone number, employer or insurance.
We accept most insurance plans and will bill your insurance directly for plans we participate with. Payment for co-pays and non-insured services is expected when service is rendered. We accept cash, personal checks and major credit cards. We are committed to helping all patients, regardless of their financial status. Payment arrangements can be made if necessary.
If our physicians have referred you to a specialist for medical care, your insurance company may require that a referral be processed by your primary care physician. For your convenience we have a Referral Request Line that you can call 24 hours a day to request managed care referrals. Just call our main phone number and listen for the appropriate prompt. Please note that we require 5 - 7 working days notice to process all non-urgent referral requests. Without adequate notice to our referral department, non-urgent appointments may need to be rescheduled or may not be paid by your insurance company.

All of our physicians are board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and have practiced locally for many years.
The physicians and staff of Associates in Family Medicine welcome you to our family. We are proud of the care we provide and look forward to getting to know you and your family. Our physicians are all board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice and are active members of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and American Academy of Family Physicians. Our physicians are also NCQA certified or certification-eligible for excellence in the management of diabetes, cardiovascular and stroke care. They have received training in pediatrics, internal medicine, orthopedics, dermatology, minor surgery, psychiatry, obstetrics/gynecology and preventative medicine.
Each year our physicians complete extensive continuing education to ensure that they stay up to date with the most current technology, diagnostic tests, and treatment plans available today.
Our family practitioners try to get to know each patient as an individual, listening to his or her feelings and health concerns. By understanding family and social relationships and responsibilities, we can interpret medical data in a comprehensive and personal way.

At Associates in Family Medicine we provide care from adolescence to geriatrics, this includes child through adult wellness visits. We provide age-appropriate immunizations for everyone from children through adults.
